Roth Named to INCPAS Board of Directors
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana CPA Society, the primary state association for CPAs, recently announced the appointment of John Douglas Roth, CPA to its board of directors for a two-year term.
Roth, a resident of Fort Wayne, has been with Do it Best Corp in Fort Wayne for over six years and is currently manager of internal audit. As an active member of the Society, he formerly served as a Leadership Cabinet member.
Roth is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC) and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He is actively involved in his community, volunteering for Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity and church youth leadership. He also serves on the executive committee for the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk.
As a member of the INCPAS Board of Directors, Roth's responsibilities will include working with the chair and vice chairs to see that the Society’s mission is carried out to the fullest extent. The board meets five times annually.
Nearly 7,000 CPAs in public practice, industry, government and education are members of the Indiana CPA Society, along with an additional 1,000 students, CPA candidates, associates and affiliates. The INCPAS serves the public interest as well as its members. The organization functions as an advocate for the CPA profession through education, public awareness, government relations and promotion of high ethical standards. Each of its programs and services is designed to meet the needs that have been identified for its diverse membership.
