Carmel CPAs Named Best and Brightest Finalists

INDIANAPOLIS - This year 100 of Central Indiana's outstanding young professionals were honored at the annual Indy's Best & Brightest award dinner on Sept. 27. Indiana CPA Society member, Troy J. Gilstorf, CPA was named the winner of the accounting category. Nine other Society members including Carmel residents, Michelle A. Kerr, CPA, and Nathan Habegger, CPA, were recognized in the accounting, banking and financial services and government categories. Kerr is with Slattery & Holman, P.C., and was named an Indy's Best and Brightest finalist for the second year in a row in the accounting category. Positively affecting others and demonstrating leadership qualities are two of the requirements for nomination. Kerr, is active in the Indiana CPA Society and serves on the Board of Directors. She also serves as the School Key Contact to Carmel High school and promotes the value of the CPA designation.

"While it is humbling to be recognized as one of Indy's Best and Brightest in my field, what has been most rewarding is hearing from several clients and colleagues who sent notes or called with positive feedback about the level of service we provide," said Kerr.
