State Treasurer Mourdock to Address Indiana in the Global Economy at INCPAS Construction Conference Nov. 11

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana CPA Society's 2008 Construction Conference is being held Nov. 11 at the Ritz Charles in Carmel.

This conference will address common pitfalls contractors face when dealing with sales and use tax, unique issues involving prefabrication labor in Indiana, and surety credit in today's environment. Richard Mourdock, state treasurer, will examine Indiana’s place in the global economy and its effect on the construction industry and James L. McGovern, with McGovern & Greene, LLP, will discuss how to avoid being the victim of fraud.
