Indiana CPA Society Wins the Award for Best Association Web Site
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana CPA Society has been recognized by the Indiana Society for Association Executives for Indiana's best association web site. The awards were presented on Dec. 7 at ISAE's annual STAR Awards banquet at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites at Keystone at the Crossing.
The Best Website category was won previously by INCPAS in 2001 and 2005, and the Society is honored to win it again for the third time in five years. Incpas.org is the resource for members to learn more about upcoming professional development opportunities, find news about issues facing the CPA profession, and provides valuable resource and reference materials. There is information on the conferences, special events, and member networking events.
The web site also contains information on current events in legislation facing CPAs and information for students on how to become a CPA. The site utilizes a "rotating content" concept on the home page and all main pages that highlights certain events and news items on a rotating basis. The site gives members a quick and easy reference on the Internet for all things related to the Indiana CPA Society and the CPA profession.
INCPAS is headquartered in Indianapolis and serves as the statewide association for CPAs. Nearly 7,000 CPAs in public practice, business, government and education are members, along with another 1,000 students, CPA candidates, associates and affiliates. INCPAS serves the public interest as well as its members through education, public awareness, government relations and promotion of high ethical standards.
