Nancy Ahlrichs

Ahlrichs is vice president of workforce development and diversity for United Way of Central Indiana. For over six years, she was president of EOC Strategies, LLC, an Indianapolis-based human resources consulting firm specializing in intergenerational communication and management, attracting and managing Gens X & Y, reigniting performance in longtime employees, and building the bottom line by becoming an employer of choice. She shares her research and experience in her speaking, consulting and writing. Ahlrichs has spoken to more than 450 audiences and management teams in utilities, insurance, healthcare, high tech, legal, banking, government, manufacturing and other fields. Her numerous articles and guest columns have appeared in print and online business and technical journals. In 2007, Ahlrichs was named "American Speaker of the Year" by TEC Canada, for her work with more than 20 CEO peer groups. The late Governor Frank O'Bannon named Ahlrichs a "Distinguished Hoosier" for her service to the State of Indiana, and she was named "Kiwanian of the Year 2001-02."

Cranfill has an extensive human resource background and experience working in and consulting with a variety of organizations and industries. Cranfill's human resource experience includes positions at Eli Lilly and Company, SM&P Utility Resources and Indianapolis Life Insurance Company. Previously, Cranfill worked in higher education at Marian College. Cranfill earned an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, a master's degree in education from Indiana University, and a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from Hanover College. She is a former adjunct faculty member for the University of Indianapolis and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Jennifer J. Deal

Jennifer Deal is a senior research scientist at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) in San Diego, California. Her work focuses on global leadership and generational differences. She is the manager of CCL's World Leadership Survey and the Emerging Leaders research project. In 2002 Deal co-authored Success for the New Global Manager and has published articles on generational issues, executive selection, cultural adaptability, global management and women in management. Her second book Retiring the Generation Gap was published in 2007. An internationally recognized expert on generational differences, she has spoken on the topic in six continents. She holds a B.A. from Haverford College and a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from Ohio State University.

Soon after joining the firm, she created the original “Coach Approach, Coaching 1.0," for the HR channel, which was soon reworked and is now delivered firm wide as the "Coach Approach." She also created training on emotional intelligence and her newest creation, "Thinking Your Way to a Better Career," is based on attraction principles. Goldberg is currently part of the team and career coaches, spending most of her time traveling and presenting the team catalogue as well as one on one coaching to our colleagues. Goldberg is passionate about sharing the message of coaching, and inspiring and motivating each person to be their personal best.

Since then he has served in a number of senior HR roles. In 2001 Smith was asked by Deloitte's CEO to study generational differences then beginning to manifest in the workplace. With a strong commitment from Deloitte leadership, Smith has grown NGI into a key strategic initiative with tangible positive business impact over the past eight years. Smith has appeared on the Lehrer NewsHour on PBS as a generational issues expert. His views are sought out by major news magazines such as TIME, BusinessWeek and Forbes as well as newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal. In June, 2007 Smith was the recipient of the Work/Life Legacy Award sponsored by the Families & Work Institute.
