Long-Awaited IFRS Roadmap Released
The SEC's roadmap for adoption of international financial reporting standards sets forth several milestones that must be met in order to require the use of IFRS by U.S. issuers by 2014.

The IRS Releases New Mileage Rates
In response to falling gas prices, mileage rates are dropping too. Beginning Jan. 1, 2009, the standard mileage rate will be $.55, which is slightly lower than the current rate.

Holiday Note
