INCPAS Shows Support for Snowe-Enzi Amendment
INCPAS Legislative Key Persons and leadership have written letters encouraging Indiana's U.S. Senators to vote "yes" to the Snowe-Enzi amendment to strike onerous changes on S corps contained in the tax extenders bill. Similar letters are being sent by other state societies and the AICPA.

Indiana BOA Permits Early Application for the CPA Exam
The Indiana Board of Accountancy now permits CPA candidates to apply to take the CPA Exam 60 days prior to completing the 150-hour requirement. Students must meet certain conditions. Contact the Indiana Coordinator for CPA Exam Services Misun Shin at 1-800-272-3926 ext. 4263 with questions.

80K Hoosiers to Receive Tax Bills this Week
The Indiana Department of Revenue will begin mailing tax bills to Hoosiers who owe individual income tax from the past filing season. Bills not paid by the due date could convert into tax warrants.

AICPA to Launch CFF Credentialing Exam
Beginning Sept. 1, 2010, CPAs interested in obtaining the Certified in Financial Forensics credential must pass the CFF Examination. Registration for the exam will begin Sept. 1 and last through Oct. 1.
