PCAOB Launches New Phase on Audit Firm Rotation
The PCAOB has opened the discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of audit firm rotation. The board released a concept release on the topic and plans to gather feedback by mid-December. The board is focused on evaluating audit terms of 10 years or greater and the scope of any potential requirements, such as whether rules would apply only to audits of the largest public companies.

AICPA Introduces Community College Blueprint
Community college has emerged as an increasingly popular option for high school students and career-changing adults wishing to pursue an accounting degree. The AICPA has released the new Community College Blueprint section on StartHereGoPlaces.com. The site gives community college options and benefits, along with who might be a good fit.
