Trends Report: Number of Accounting Grads at Record High
The AICPA released the 2011 trends survey that shows rebounding hiring plans and heavy demand for post-grads. Nearly 90 percent of CPA firms forecast increased hiring. It also hints at a potential challenge: colleges and universities may be struggling to keep up with capacity. Read More

20-year-old Lauren Spierer was last seen around 4:30 a.m. on June 3. The search for the Indiana University student has spread rapidly through social media and thousands have volunteered. The Society asks that members help in any way possible. Her father, Robert Spierer, is a member of the New York Society of CPAs.
