INDIANA: INCPAS Chair Talks Diversity in BizVoice
INCPAS Chair Charles Johnson, CPA, was recently featured in a BizVoice magazine web exclusive, where he
addresses diversity in the CPA profession and highlights the Society's newest efforts to address the issue. The inaugural INCPAS Scholars Program is designed to attract interest from students with diverse backgrounds and match them with a mentor.

INDIANA: INCPAS Member in "Who's Who in Health Care and Benefits"
At the beginning of each month, the Indianapolis Business Journal identifies key players in different business sectors. Ed Abel, CPA, of Blue & Co., LLC in Indianapolis was profiled in this month's feature, "Who's Who in Health Care and Benefits." The list also included health care administrators, benefits experts, insurance executives, doctors doing groundbreaking work, attorneys and policymakers.

INDIANA: INCPAS Student Member Wins PCAOB Scholarship
Ekaterina "Kate" Pronina, a senior in Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis, was recently awarded a $10,000 scholarship by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board to assist her pursuit of an accounting degree. Pronina was among the 52 scholarship recipient schools honored for 2011-12.

INCPAS Is Seeking Nominations for Its Board
The INCPAS Leadership Succession Committee is seeking recommendations for members to serve on the Society's Board of Directors. The individuals will be considered for a two-year term beginning July 1, 2012. You may nominate yourself or someone else. Nominations must be received no later than Dec. 1. Where Would You Be Without the Indiana CPA-PAC?
As an INCPAS member, contributing to the Indiana CPA-PAC is one of the most important actions you can take to protect your profession. It gives you access to legislators in both houses and on both sides of the aisle, so you can do your part to protect and promote your interests as a CPA. We challenge you to step up and stay involved by contributing any amount. Help us meet our 2011 goal of $38,300 with 831 members contributing.

This is your night and your chance to honor Indiana's successful CPA Exam candidates and INCPAS award winners, volunteers and leadership.
