Moving the Profession Forward
Legislative and Regulatory Advocacy
INCPAS represents CPAs and their interests through the Indiana CPA-PAC, Government Relations Advisory Council (GRAC) and the Key Contact Program. The Society also expresses a unified message to the State Board of Accountancy and other regulatory bodies to promote the integrity of the CPA profession.
INCPAS and its members have gained statewide media exposure for their programs, services and expertise they can offer the media and the public. INCPAS also arranges speaking engagements for members with business-related groups and students on campuses, and encourage members to perform volunteer duties for community and not-for-profit organizations.
INCPAS aims to increase awareness of the profession by speaking to college students around the state through campus presentations and career fairs. College students also benefit from the annual Case Study Competition in which they compete for cash prizes while solving real-world business issues.
INCPAS Programs and Services
INCPAS stays in tune with the needs of its members and trends in the profession by frequently reviewing its program and service mix. New conferences, seminars and networking opportunities are created each year for members in response to current issues affecting CPAs in Indiana.
Community volunteer, charity and educational programs are important to the Society's mission. Through the CPA Day of Service, CPAs Lead the Way, CPA Ambassadors and financial literacy programs, the Society strives to encourage CPAs to make a difference in their communities.
