Karl J. Ahlrichs, SPHR
Consultant and Business Developer 
Gregory and Appel

Karl Ahlrichs is a business generalist and human capital expert. His mission is to make complex things simple. He helps organizations with their business issues, making order from chaos and guiding their leaders. Ahlrichs is a national speaker and writer, and is often quoted in the local and national media. He has started two successful consulting practices, and has been a key member of several leadership teams. Currently he is a part of Gregory and Appel, a benefits and risk management consulting firm. 

Tami A. Earnhart
Ice Miller LLP

Tami Earnhart is a partner in the labor and employment group and health care group. She represents employers in all aspects of employment and labor law, including discrimination and other litigation, claims filed with administrative agencies, and labor arbitrations. She helps employers avoid employment disputes, when possible, and advises companies in making personnel decisions and creating policies in compliance with state and federal laws, including FMLA and affirmative action policies.

Danny M. Goldberg 

Danny M. Goldberg is the founder of GOLDSRD a leading provider of staff augmentation, executive recruiting and professional development services. Previously, Goldberg led the professional development and executive recruiting practices at Sunera. Goldberg has over 16 years of audit experience, including five as a CAE/audit director at two diverse companies.

Martin Birr is a trustee lecturer in accounting at the Kelley School of Business. He received his MBA from Indiana University.

David A. McDaniel, CPA

David McDaniel specializes in taxation and consulting services for individuals and businesses. He has experience in various disciplines of taxation and professional practice management, including tax planning and compliance, business valuations, expert testimony, tax representation and mergers and acquisitions of closely held businesses. McDaniel is a frequent speaker on financial tax and legislative topics at a variety of conventions, seminars and workshops as well as author of various articles for professional journals and in-house publications.

Sharon Nelson is the president of Sensei Enterprises, Inc., a digital forensics, information technology and information security firm. Nelson graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and has been in private practice ever since, now concentrating exclusively in electronic evidence law. Nelson is the president of the Virginia State Bar, president-elect of the Fairfax Law Foundation, a past president of the Fairfax Bar Association.

John W. Simek

John Simek is the vice president of Sensei Enterprises, Inc. He is an EnCase Certified Examiner and a nationally known testifying expert in the area of digital forensics. After forming Sensei, he ended his 20+ year affiliation with Mobil Oil Corporation, where he served as a senior technologist designing and troubleshooting Mobil’s networks throughout the western hemisphere. Simek holds a degree in engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA in finance from Saint Joseph’s University.

Keith Sutherland is a partner, and fully accredited instructor, with Service Management Dynamix, LLC. Since 2004, Sutherland has facilitated a number of sessions for organizations interested in the value of a true IT Service Management framework. Sutherland’s varied background allows him to share real and practical experiences with clients, while his dynamic presentation skills aid in helping customers absorb the concept of ITSM, including ITIL®, project management and other complementary frameworks and methodologies.
